Our Core Beliefs. . .

Community is very important to women. Our primary purpose is to offer a space for women to share, explore and develop all aspects of their personal and professional lives.

Connections between women foster a sense of belonging that is the foundation for emotional wellness. We strive to bring programs and services to the Columbia area that will bring women together for the purpose of building connections in both their personal and professional lives.

Caring occurs when women spend time together in an environment that is secure, creative and open. At the GG, we work hard to build safe space for women to 'be' together and care for one another in a variety of ways.

Creativity is central to healthy self-expression and emotional development. The programs at the GG, and opportunity to share our creations through Art Body & Soul, are designed to support women in fulfilling their dreams, coming into their own and sharing their gifts with other women.

The GG Sisterhood . . .

In 2006 we will offer memberships to The GG that allow those who join to have reduced fees for programs, a discount on items in the gift shop and first option to experience special GG events. The levels of membership are as follows:

___ Individual Members pay $25 for annual dues that afford them a 10% discount on registrations, services and gifts.

___ Referring Members pay $50 for annual dues that offer the member a 15% discount on registrations, services and gifts. Additionally, referring members earn credit toward future offerings or purchases when they refer others to the GG for classes, groups or other events.

___ Affiliates of The GG pay $100 for annual dues, a portion of which is used to establish scholarships for those who do not have the resources to attend a class. This level of membership also offers a 20% discount on registrations, services and gifts. Credit toward future offerings or purchases are earned for referring others to the GG for classes, groups or other events at this level, also. Network providers who offer services at the GG and small businesses are eligible for this level of membership, as well as individuals.

Our Mission . . .

The mission of The Grand Goddess is to offer a sacred space for women to gather who want to live authentically and experience acceptance in a supportive environment.

Our thoughts about fees . . .

In cases where hardships exist, women who would like to attend an event may request a scholarship or reduction in fees. Each event has a limited number of scholarships based on the enrollment. A reduced fee, suggestion for bartering of applicable services or payment plan may also be requested when appropriate.

The GG Model of Wellness . . .

At The GG we offer an informal, helping network of people who support and encourage each other in all areas of life. However, there are times when people reach out to us who feel that they require professional services to meet their needs and desires. For those who are in need of such support, a professional helper will meet with her. Together, they will determine the best plan of action. Network providers who offer services for The GG may be recommended when appropriate. Those who offer services for The GG are screened prior to doing so to protect The GG members and ensure that Network Providers are aligned with our values.
